Look at this scene, the graffiti: a group of revolutionaries demonstrating, if not fighting, for a better life, getting rid of the dictator. We can nearly hear the slogans they scant: “freedom for the people! Freedom, freedom, freedom!”

And then this family comes along and we are back in ordinary daily life here in Rennes.

And I ask myself, as much as I enjoy life here, is it too far away from all the problems we are facing now in the world? Is it too easy to forget, to ignore?

I worked and lived in Baku in Azerbaijan since September 2012 and started the blog "Life in Baku". End of August 2015 I moved to Rennes in France with the 365 project in my new blog "Life in Rennes".
