Last Sunday was a splendid late October day with deep blue sky and warm temperatures. The ideal day to go back to the bus stop of George Sand, where I had seen this lovely house with its weather-beaten windows and splendid October colors.
The house is one of these lovely local houses built from stones and and of course large windows in white color, prepared for the contrast of the deep red of the fall leaves.

The leaves are already conquering the shutters, creeping up to the upper floor, decorating the wall and the peeling color of the shutter adds to the scene.

The little branches form thier own little curtain, whose shadows draws filigree patterns on the window pane.
