I guess about 95% of all photographs are taken from the photographer standing and looking quite straight to her subject. Well, let’s exclude the selfies from this calculation. That is the perspective with which we see the world – taking pictures or not. Sometimes we may look down to watch our steps – but this is then indeed the only thing we watch. What a pity – we miss so much by not noticing what’s under our feet.

Join me on a walk on the beach – just by looking down. While a few pictures may make us believe they were captured on the moon, some are quite colorful. This is what you miss with your normal way to look at life.

So, get your boots on, get out and watch what’s on the ground.
