Did you ever face the issue of decision making when being confronted with a dessert menu – you actually want to try them all, but stomach space is at best good for one.
Well, the French have a solution called “café gourmand” – you get a plate with three or four desserts en miniature. This way you can try all and still do not run the risk of a sugar shock to your body.
And the plate looks sooo cute. Just look at this tiny chocolate cake. Just as a reference of size – the coffee is an espresso – the cake is tiny. The other three were vanilla ice cream, crème brulee and tiramisu. Just look at the presentation – this alone is art.
Hmmm, an alternative name could be “the four sins”.
