listen to their music.Summer in Brittany is also the season of festivals. The Festival Interceltique in Lorient m founded in 1971, as one of the well known festivals in the region, it attracts thousands and thousands of people every summer. Regions from all over the world with celtic roots present their music, dance, singing and in general their culture. It is not a surprise that the British and Irish Islands are well represented. But also other regions are present – I liked in particular the bands from Nouveau Brunswick from Canada. This year Australia was featured.

And my favorite was a band from Wales.

Their youngest member – the young man in the featured image – is playing a kind of flute (sorry, I do not know, how it is called), was quite popular. You just have to be in good mood, when you listen to their music.

And get off your sneakers, put on real shoes, and dance. And I can tell you, it was pretty hot in the tent. That dance was quite a performance!

After the performance of the band a documentary on Wales was playing – quite interesting, but also saddeing to see a region go down.
