Ploumanac’h, known for its grandiose rose granite rocks and the sentier douanier along the coast, has also a quite nice port and an old mill driven by the tides (unfortunately not any longer active). The port is formed by the confluence of two rivers and is quite protected from the rough sea.

The port is much less crowded than the touristic center – a nice place to relax from too much tourism.

On the way to the touristic center you have a nice view on the castle on the island. It is like a childhood that came true for somebody.
