The megalith site of Locmariaquer  is a fenced area and as human visitor you can only enter via the visiting center after paying your entry fee. Though the area is neighboring a residential area, just neighbored to some back yards, there are of course no human inhabitants. It is different for feline visitors – or inhabitants.

This cat seemed to be a regular visitor, if not living there. She felt very comfortable lying on the grass, being petted by the human visitors and also “possessing” and “protecting” its megalithic site.
