Chimneys

On the side walls of old Breton buildings one can often see how the chimneys of the buildings flow into one central canal. Sometimes they remind me of lava streams flowing down the wall, stretching out along the wall.

The featured image has kind of three layers – the side wall with the chimneys, the front facing the Mail with the typical windows of Breton buildings with their red brick frame and the Horizons, the two high-rise buildings of modern Rennes from 1970.
